Most visitors to the Napa Valley are interested in a wide variety of activities in addition to enjoying our spa treatments. We have therefore included sections on our web site on Napa Valley wineries, restaurants, picnics, hiking and shopping. We would like to continue to expand these sections, and are seeking short articles related to travel and tourism in the wine country. For example, perhaps you would like to write about your favorite restaurants or wineries, or maybe you have general suggestions for first time visitors on planning a winery tour, or thoughts about “a perfect weekend” in the Napa Valley. We are interested in articles on any topic related to travel in the wine country, with the exception of articles concerning spas and lodging at other than Golden Haven. If you would like to write an article for our web site, please send an e-mail to spa@goldenhaven.com entitled "Writing for your Web Site." Please outline your general ideas for your article in as much detail as possible. Of course, if you have already written an article, you can attach it. Ideally, articles should range in length from 500 to 1,500 words. Please note that it will take us at least a week to respond to your submission, and that because of scheduling issues we will unable to respond to any submissions received between September 8 and October 20.
If we publish your article, we will include your by-line at the beginning of the article, and, if you wish, provide a brief biographical sketch. Additionally, to show our appreciation for being able to use your article, it will be our pleasure to send you a gift certificate for complimentary spa treatments.
