Making the Most of Your Visit

It is recommended you arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment. This will allow time to get checked in and start your treatments on time. That is if you decide not to come early to take advantage of our mineral pool and two hot tubs. In which you have access to 1 hour before and an hour after with a spa treatment.

All spa guests will change in the treatment room. We will provide your robe and a mesh bag to put your belongings in. Your things will follow you during your treatment. We do not have locker rooms here, but we do have lockers by the pool area. Our locker space is small and during peak times, you may need to wait your turn. They are on a first come, first use basis.

All spa guests will be provided with robes, towels, and body/hair shampoo. We do have shower rooms for you to get ready for the rest of your day after your spa treatments.  You are encouraged to bring your own personal care products.

The Mud Bath Experience is a heat treatment and is NOT recommended for anyone with high or low blood pressure, diabetes, guests undergoing chemotherapy, or women during pregnancy.

Guests must be able to get in and out of a Mud Bath tub without assistance. Guests with limited mobility may choose to bring an assistant (family member or healthcare professional) with them to help them. Golden Haven staff cannot physically lift or provide weight-bearing assistance for a guest getting into or out of the tub.

If you have mobility issues and you are not able to climb stairs, please let us know in advance so we can accommodate your massage or your room downstairs.

You cannot be under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs during your spa treatment. If a guest appears to be under the influence and it is deemed that it would be unsafe for them to have a treatment, particularly the Mud Bath Experience, due to the possibility of overheating, we reserve the right to refuse service.

Please keep well hydrated and make sure to eat a substantial meal before arriving.

As a courtesy to other guests and our providers, if you need to cancel an appointment please give 72 hours’ notice. “No Show” and “Same Day” cancellations or reschedules will be charged the full treatment price.

Our prices do NOT include gratuity.  Gratuity is encouraged but not required. We believe that it’s up to the guest, if or how much they would like to leave for your service providers. Either via credit card or cash.

Age Requirements for Services:
MASSAGE
Guests must be 18 years or older to receive a Massage alone.

MUD BATH EXPERIENCE
Guests 16 and 17 years old and over 100lbs may receive a mud bath with an adult present in a shared room and same-gendered spa attendant.
