February in Napa Valley has a hint of spring in the air. There are also some long holiday weekends that are perfect for a winter getaway.

In the town of Napa, the average temperature in February is 50 degrees, while the average high is 62 degrees and the average low temperature is 37 degrees. The average rainfall for February is 3.9 inches. Temperatures and rainfall in Yountville and Oakville, several miles north of Napa, would be roughly the same as in Napa.

February also usually sees some surprisingly high temperatures. We have had temperatures that have broken over 70 degrees in Napa for over  five days in 2006 and we have seen highs in the mid to upper 70’s every February since.
